Just when you thought Larian Studios was done with Baldur’s Gate 3, it announces another major patch. Patch 6 arrives next week and includes new camp idle animations, Legendary Actions for Honour Mode players and bug fixes.
Described as a “hefty one,” Larian will share the full patch notes on the game’s official website, so stay tuned. The last big patch added an Epilogue set several months after the game’s ending, showcasing the fallout of the player’s action. It also brought Honour Mode, which offers the highest difficulty, a single save slot and permadeath.
Custom Mode was also added, allowing players to tweak various parameters for a playthrough. There have been other hotfixes since then, like Hotfix 16, which allowed using key quest items without carrying them. Hotfix 17 also fixes Gale’s insistence on having magical items. It should be interesting to see what else Patch 6 offers.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
