Airthings, one of the leading lights in indoor air quality and radon monitoring, have used CES 2024 to take the covers off of two new devices: Airthings Renew, its first smart air purifier, and Wave Enhance, a battery-operated indoor air quality monitor.
Starting with Airthings Renew, as it represents a brand new area for the Norwegian brand, who previously just monitored air with the likes of the View Plus and Wave Mini.
Itâs a slick looking smart air purifier that aims to enhance air quality and provide better sleep conditions.
Boasting a 4-stage HEPA-13 filter and high-performance carbon filter, the Renew efficiently removes 99.97% of particulates, gases, and odors, and is capable of purifying the air in a typical bedroom within 10 minutes.
It isnât just confined to your sleeping space though, Airthings tells us that itâs effective in any room up to 525 square feet.
Renew doesn’t just purify the air; it integrates with the Airthings app, allowing users to monitor air quality trends, reorder filters, and control the purifier remotely.
Priced at $399, Airthings Renew is available to pre-order now.
Launching alongside the Renew is the Wave Enhance; a compact, battery-operated indoor air quality monitor.
Itâs equipped with five air quality sensors, including a high-precision NDIR sensor to measure carbon dioxide (CO2).
It also provides insights into airborne chemicals (VOCs), temperature, humidity, air pressure, ambient noise, and light. Its integration with the Airthings app offers a Sleep Disruptors report, helping you to understand if air quality impacted your sleep.
The Airthings Wave Enhance will be $149 when it goes on sale in mid-2024.
