LG always goes big at CES (quite literally, its booth is always the biggest at the show) and 2024 is no exception for the Korean giant, with an absolute barrage of new tech already announced ahead of the big Vegas expo.
The LG Styler has been revamped for 2024, with the latest model featuring a high-pressure, handheld, steamer that should make it easier to remove wrinkles from your clothes.
The next-gen Styler also boasts a new Dual TrueSteam system featuring two heaters to boil water and generate steam, enhanced dust removal and deodorization, and a built-in ventilation system to automatically circulate air throughout the room.
CES wouldnât be CES without LG launching a plethora of cutting edge new TVs and, again, the Korean company remains true to form with the companyâs 2024 OLED TV lineup introducing the brandâs latest AI processor, which boasts a 4x higher AI performance.
Top of the TV tree are the new LG Signature OLED M4 (above) and LG OLED G4, which both pack LGâs new Alpha 11 AI processor, resulting in a 70% boost for graphic performance and a 30% processing speed uptick compared to their predecessors
The M4 is the worldâs first TV with wireless video and audio transmission at up to 4K 144Hz and comes in sizes from 65 to 97 inches.
Running the show is the impressive webOS platform, which has come a long way since its Palm Pre smartphone days.
The latest webOS, which will feature on the new 2024 range, allows for 10 individual profiles and can also recognize usersâ voices.
This doesnât just mean personalized apps and show and movie recommendations but also the Picture Wizard tool that means image settings can be adjusted individualâs specific tastes.
And the good news is that itâs not just the new LG TVs getting the upgraded webOS goodies; as part of the webOS Re:New program, it will also land on every model in LGâs 2022 OLED TV lineup, the LG OLED Flex, the LG OLED Objet Collection Posé, as well as LGâs 2022 QNED Mini LED 8K series.
Also in Vegas at the LG booth, CES attendees will be able to sneak a peek at some devices that are still in the works at the LG Labs zone.
Devices such as the DukeBox by LG Labs, which looks absolutely bonkers and is described as âan innovative audio product that seamlessly combines the charm of vacuum tube audio with cutting-edge transparent OLED panel technology.â
It looks like a super-high end TV system that also doubles up as a holographic TV⦠exactly what we all need.
All of that above is barely scratching the surface of what LG will have on show over in Vegas, with new soundbars, monitors, speakers, washing machines and more already announced ahead of the expo.
The big question, as always with LG, is when (if ever) weâll actually see these products on sale outside of Korea.
Weâll keep this story updated with pricing and availability, so be sure to check back for more info.
