Sylvox, a prominent player in the ever-expanding outdoor TV market, has taken the covers off of a number of new TVs ahead of CES 2024, which the Chinese brand will be showing off at the big Vegas expo.
Most notable of the new arrivals is the 15.6-inch Portable Waterproof Smart TV, which is essentially a take-anywhere Google TV, designed to sit around the pool or hot-tub, or live at the end of your bath.
With a IP66 waterproof rating you wouldnât want to actually submerge it but it can withstand a pretty intense water pressure blast so should hold up in all the elements that are thrown its way.
Weighing just 4.85lbs, this portable device is designed to float on water thanks to its boat-like frame, offering users an unconventional yet immersive viewing experience.
The integration of Google TV, coupled with voice control functionalities from the Google Assistant, should ensure a seamless operation, even for users with wet fingers.
The 360° rotatable stand provides flexibility in positioning, and the built-in battery promises 4.5 to 6 hours of uninterrupted playback.
It can also be used with both iOS and Android for mirror-casting so you arenât limited to just the Google TV experience.
But itâs not just the small screen where Sylvox has big ambitions for the new year.
Already big fans of Sylvoxâs 55-inch Outdoor TV, weâre pretty excited at here at The Ambient about the new Sylvox flagship product for 2024; the Sylvox 75-inch Cinema Smart outdoor TV, which boasts 3500nit brightness and dynamic backlighting.
Also on show over in Las Vegas will be a new 15.6-inch Kitchen Smart TV that offers 1080p Full HD viewing from a foldable design, tailored to optimize kitchen space by hiding out of sight under your kitchen cabinets.
Sylvox will also be showing off its new Elevating Outdoor Smart TV, which is able to ascend from a table’s surface during use and discreetly retract afterward contributes to both practicality and style.
Pricing and availability is yet to be confirmed but we’ll update this story as soon as we know more.
